Joe from Lansing, Michigan hauls his dirt bikes up to northern Michigan several times each summer to ride trails and he often loads his 18 foot enclosed trailer to hit the sand dunes next to Lake Michigan. Joe and his wife love hauling their bikes but they were sick of having gear flop around the trailer and they got tired of having bikes damaged by loose objects moving around during transit.

Joe’s friend referred him to Pit Products and after Joe spent time on the website (www.pitproducts.com) he ordered some trailer storage lockers, a helmet cabinet, a workstation, and a couple hanger racks. 

We were really impressed by the way Joe installed the storage lockers around the helmet cabinet in the front portion of his trailer. It’s an impressive look that we think other Pit Products customers might like. Joe says the hanger racks were mounted in front of the lockers so that he could hang jackets and pants outside the lockers when the trailer was parked thus allowing him easy access to those garments.

In order to save space Joe wisely mounted the Pit Products Senior Workstation on the side door of his trailer.  This way the workstation is available to the exterior of the trailer when the side door is open.  The flip down work table on the workstation is another way he keeps his trailer accessible and tidy.

One item Joe didn’t have in mind until he saw it on the Pit Products website was the Trailer Door Slider Plates.  The trailer door slider plates help Joe load his bikes from the ramp onto the trailer floor with less bumping and jostling as they take away the gap between the trailer drop down door and the trailer floor.
