We at Pit Products are often surprised to learn what our customers are working on when they purchase enclosed trailer storage cabinets, trailer ramps, and other trailer storage accessories from us. The past few months we’ve been enthused to support an interesting business called Envirosight which is based in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Envirosight has purchased several sets of Pit Products trailer cabinets and storage shelves in order to outfit their service trailer and vans.

Envirosight is an awesome company that builds underground infrastructure, pipeline and confined space inspection equipment such as manhole cameras, zoom survey cameras, robotic crawlers, small pipe push cameras, inspection vehicles and in-line robotic pipe cutters. Envirosight’s tools inspect sewer, water and stormwater lines, as well as manholes, wet wells, vessels and electrical conduit. Below is an image of some of the amazing products they manufacture.

This sounds like the perfect topic for that TV show on the Discovery channel, Dirty Jobs! Man, it doesn’t get any cooler than this...robotic cameras crawling through oil pipes and through sewer lines…wow!!! It almost seems like this equipment could be used to explore the surface of mars. Imagine if a Pit Products outfitted enclosed trailer was dropped off on mars! Crazy. I am sure a couple of the guys on our crew would want to go to outer space wtih the trailer.

OK...back to reality…

Envirosight contacted us back in January and told us about their goals for their service vans and enclosed cargo trailers. We recommended a few Pit Products items and then we sent them the first set of Junior Variety Cabinets, Latex Glove Box Dispensers, and 18 Mount Oil Shelves. Since then Envirosight has outfitted several of their vans, trailers, and truck bed mounted service units with Pit Products storage solutions.
