TC from Ontario, Canada contacted Pit Products recently to ask if we could help him outfit a new car hauling trailer he is working on over in the land to the north. TC had several goals for the car hauler. He wanted to install heavy duty and good looking storage cabinets, but he didn’t want to add a bunch of weight to his trailer. Another objective of TC’s was to reduce the angle of vehicle approach to his trailer.  

Our crew first recommended the trailer version of our 8 Foot Base Cabinet with Overhead Cabinet Combo. This trailer cabinet combo combines the benefits of significant storage space, robust MIG welded construction of durable / lightweight aluminum, the sharp look of diamond plate, the functionality of a reinforced work bench surface, and the base cabinet includes an adjustable storage shelf inside. 

The ramp we suggested was our 4 Inch Lift Diamond Plate Extension Ramp. This ramp mounts to the edge of the rear trailer door and unfolds when the door is set down on the ground. The trailer extension ramp reduces the angle of approach and offers a nice and easy way to drive low profile vehicles into the car hauling trailer.
