Pizza boxes?  

What?  

The Pit Products crew visited the Formula SAE racing competition yesterday at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan and everywhere we looked we saw empty pizza boxes!  

I guess this is what happens when you get 120 college racing teams together, stick them in the infield of a huge NASCAR race track, and tell them they have to live and work there for 4 days straight to get their race cars ready to compete...

Seriously though, what an amazing place to be. The student teams are so impressive. These "kids" have designed, built, financed, tested, and now are racing, small race cars in a major competition.  Any business looking for top notch mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, controls engineers, or any type of technical skills should be here meeting and interviewing the students...they are sharp!

We were also excited to visit some teams that have purchased and installed Pit Products trailer storage cabinets and trailer storage accessories in their car hauling trailers.  

We were able to meet the awesome students from Georgia Tech's GT Motorsports team. They have a beautiful ground cover in front of their trailer...colored in yellow and black of course...go yellow jackets! They installed a Pit Products 4 Foot Base Cabinet and a Nitro-Canopy Cradle a few days before hitting the road with their enclosed trailer. They had a long drive from Atlanta, Georgia to Brooklyn, Michigan. You can tell from the photo that the team thought the weather up here in Michigan was a bit too chilly for their liking!
