The initial idea for the heavy duty closet hangers came from a Pit Products snowmobiling customer who wanted a place to store his snowmobile suits / bibs, who was sick of hauling his snowmobiling gear into the house and who was also sick of the cheap, weak coat hangers he was using. You'll notice the closet hangers are built from very heavy duty aluminum and are specially designed for the rugged uses that Pit Products customers need.
